During the summer months, Lillgården’s garden is full of flowers and vegetables. Sit down for a while and enjoy the buzzing of bees and chickens before you enter the shop. You are always welcome to take a walk in the large and rich kitchen garden that produces wonderful harvests of berries and vegetables, and which is also the bees’ favorite place.
Anna, who is both a beekeeper and vegetable grower, runs the small shop where you can buy the delicious honey produced on the farm. Lillgården’s honey is something very special and has been harvested using gentle methods and without heating. In Mellanskåne’s varied nature, the bees find nectar from many different flowers, which produces a tasty and aromatic honey. Every year, Anna also leaves her honey for analysis and can thus see which flowers the bees visit in the different places.
In the summer of 2023, the farm could harvest, among other things, the mild spring honey from all the spring flowers such as rapeseed, dandelion, fruit and berries, clover honey but fresh taste of the warm days of summer and linden honey with a lovely taste of mint. In the shop you will also find the farm’s vegetables in season and many specially selected products from other local food artisans in our vicinity.
If you want to stay a little longer on the farm, there is also a guest room with kitchenette and bathroom that you can book via Airbnb. A warm welcome to Lillgården!
