Christoffer Borg Mattisson

If you haven’t visited Stockamöllan outside Eslöv yet, we highly recommend a trip there. There are canoe rentals, a flea market, nature walks and cultural events.

Stockamöllan is a small, historic, picturesque village outside Eslöv. It is located right on the Rönne River and offers a unique cultural environment, where water power has been used for mills and industries. There are several watermills here that were in operation for several centuries, from 1385 until 1996 when Rönnemölla’s operation was closed.

Traces from an old time

There is a lot of history to discover in Stockamöllan. For example, you can look at Rönnemölla which is open for tours sometimes. You can also check out Stenbock’s Stone. It marks the place where Magnus Stenbock and his army waded across Rönneå on their way to the Battle of Helsingborg in 1710.

Also visit Industrimuseet where you can hear all about the mills.
