The Christmas spirit is now spreading across the Skåne landscape, and the small, charming places in the countryside come to life with magical Christmas markets, the scent of gingerbread and sparkling lights. Take a break from everyday life and experience the unique atmosphere that only a Skåne Christmas can offer.

Here you will find tips for cozy excursions, Christmas activities and memorable experiences that guarantee that the Christmas spirit will come:

1. Bosjökloster Christmas market – for the whole family!

Let the Christmas spirit come this first Advent weekend, take the opportunity to buy Christmas gifts directly from over 80 local craftsmen and food producers, socialize over a cup of hot mulled wine with Christmas cookies or eat Bosjökloster’s delicious Christmas buffet. Go on a Christmas gift hunt in the labyrinth and in the park, ride a horse-drawn carriage and meet Santa Claus. Our talented exhibitors offer a fantastic quality and breadth of crafts and delicacies.

2. Christmas in Billinge & Stockamöllan

On December 1st it’s time again for the Christmas market at Gamlegården in Billinge with vendors selling bread, cakes, homemade Christmas sweets and crafts. A week later, on December 8th, the Christmas market at Kulturfabriken in Stockamöllan outside Eslöv takes place during the second Advent and features exhibitors in crafts and food crafts.

3. Christmas atmosphere in Höör

On December 1st, Christmassy tones and scents spread over the center of Höör when it’s time for Christmas in Höör. Take the opportunity to meet Santa Claus, drink mulled wine, dance around the tree or see some of the atmospheric performances around Nya Torg.

From 12 noon there is a Christmas market with local exhibitors, associations, music, dance, food, drinks, competitions and games. The evening ends with the crowning of Höör’s Lucia. Everything that belongs to Christmas, simply!

4. Stora Torg i Eslöv

Welcome and visit the traditional Christmas market on the square in Eslöv. Eslöv’s scouts help create this year’s Christmas atmosphere. When? December 1, 2024, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM!

5. Old-fashioned Christmas market in Hörby 24 November

Here Santa is on site all day and hands out goodie bags to all the children! Christmas music in the church with little luminaries and elves, opportunity to ride a horse-drawn carriage. The café serves delicious ham sandwiches at Sallerupsgrova or maybe gofika with lussekatt. It’s your choice! Sale of sheaves, skins, Christmas wreaths, Christmas flowers, eggs, apple juice, homemade cakes as well as Sallerupsgrova and basket bread from the stone oven bakery etc. Hot dogs with bread. We offer mulled wine with gingerbread! The stone oven is lit in the bakery in the basement and there is freshly baked bread. Återbruket and Hantverksboden offer a lot for Christmas! Christmas music by Gert Björk, dance and sing along to traditional Christmas carols or see how spinning yarn was done in the past!

6. Svensköpbygden’s Christmas Market November 23

The Christmas market celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, which we look forward to highlighting a little extra on this atmospheric day! Here you will find everything from crafts to raffle tickets and of course some good food!

7. Christmas in Ludvigsborg November 24

Atmospheric Christmas market in Ludvigsborg’s village hall between 11:00 and 14:00!
