Living in a Tiny House at Faunb\u00e4ck Retreat is a beautiful place to base yourself during your stay in MittSk\u00e5ne. With the forest right next to the house and a babbling brook, you have the perfect opportunity to experience Sk\u00e5ne from its most beautiful side. You can also add one of the unique theme packages Faunb\u00e4ck Retreat has designed. To deepen your stay and regain balance in an otherwise intense everyday life. The theme packages are self-guided and based on mindfulness, psychology and nature experiences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n \n \n

Faunb\u00e4ck Retreat is located just outside H\u00f6\u00f6r and is run by Carmen and Daniel Faunb\u00e4ck. A place developed to give you a simple and beautiful accommodation where the focus lands on what actually matters. Carmen has a background in psychology and works as a mindset coach and stress counselor. Daniel’s background is in preschool education, nature therapy, coaching and massage therapy. Together they have a clear vision.<\/p>\n

To create a place where people can slow down and connect with themselves, with nature, with life or with someone else.<\/em><\/p>\n

Tiny House – with nature outside the door<\/h3>\n

Here in the forest garden outside H\u00f6\u00f6r you will find Faunb\u00e4ck Retreat’s first Tiny House. In the spring of 2026 another one will open for booking. With an area of \u200b\u200b15 square meters, this is a perfect accommodation for 1-2 people. Inside the cottage you have comfortable beds, a small kitchenette for making coffee or tea, and a wood-burning stove for extra warmth and coziness. Just 50 meters from the cottage is a newly renovated and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.<\/p>\n

Here, nature is never far away. In addition to the cottages being built with an eye for detail and recycling with heart and soul, there are also kilometers of forest right around the house. It is an obvious part of the experience.<\/p>\n

A holistic experience that deepens and sets perspective<\/h3>\n

The accommodation is one thing. But the holistic experience that comes from adding one of Faunb\u00e4ck Retreat’s packages is something else entirely. With six different packages to choose from, you get the tools to create contact, presence and insight in your own way and at your own pace. Regardless of whether you visit the place on your own, with your partner, a friend, a sibling or together with a family member.<\/p>\n

The package consists of exercises, reflection questions and tools that create breathing space and reflection, deepened relationships and trust, help you find your way back to each other and discover new parts of yourself or your partner.<\/p>\n

Regardless of which package you choose, you guide yourself through the exercises and control the entire experience. This way you can take everything at your own pace without pressure or demands.<\/p>\n

Intimate place, international attention<\/h3>\n

In the fall of 2025, Faunb\u00e4ck Retreat teamed up with Visit Sk\u00e5ne for their initiative Stay Quiet. The concept is actually quite simple. Two people in a small cabin for a weekend of total silence. The cabin was equipped with a decibel meter and the residents were challenged to maintain silence for 48 hours.<\/p>\n

The experience was a success! Not only with the people who took on the challenge. Stay Quiet received international attention in the media and even though the project belongs to Visit Sk\u00e5ne, the spotlight was directed at this oasis in the forest.<\/p>\n

Silence, which many find scary and uncomfortable, turned out to be a tool for clearer thoughts, deeper recovery, stronger connection, reduced digital stimulation and to regain a sense of balance. Although the project is over for now, the opportunity to check in at Faunb\u00e4ck Retreat in silence remains. With or without a decibel meter.<\/p>\n
