Hotspot Kölleröd

An unique spot for biking and hiking
Hotspot Kolleröds’ biking and hiking trails make it easy for the visitors to find their own favourite spots along the roads east of Hörby, many of which are hardly used by motorists. At the country shop of Önneköp bikes can be rented. All bikes are women’s’ bikes with baskets, and kids’ seats are available upon request. Helmets are included.
The tours are between 7 and 22 kilometres long and pass through beautiful nature with plenty of ancient monuments from the past. The stone walls separate small allotments and cows, calves and bulls are browsing grass along the route. Sheeps and horses are kept in order to maintain the landscape open, and if you are lucky you might spot both moose, deer and roe deer.

Ringsjön Runt

A festival by bike
Ringsjön runt is a family-friendly bike race which takes place in June each year. You can choose between four different runs, from 35 upp to 120 kilometres. Everyone is welcome, both amateurs and more advanced and competitive bikers.
You can also join the audience and support the bikers along the road. This traditional race celebrated its’ fiftieth anniversary in 2016.

Orup The mountain bike trail

A breathtaking experience for the brave

If you are looking for a challenge and enjoy high speeds, we recommend trying the mountain bike trail in Orup, situated in hilly terrain just south of Höör. The trail is 3.2 kilometres and constructed by local biking enthusiasts. There is no entrance fee and the trail is perfect for both children and adults who want to get active outdoors in an action-filled environment.

For two years in a row the event Late Night Race has been arranged in November, when the participants bike through the forest with headlamps. Afterwards there is the opportunity to relax and grill hot dogs together during the beautiful autumn night.
